The Specifics
Systems Engineering
Our Systems Engineering services specialize in Aerospace and Defense projects related to Radar (Radio Detection and Ranging), IFF (Identification Friend or Foe), EW (Electronic Warfare), ECM (Electronic Countermeasures), and ECCM (Electronic Counter-Countermeasures). We work closely with our clients to develop and ensure that System requirements are met through System Design and Analysis. We perform System flow down requirements from customers Specification Requirements and partition the performance for sub-components.
RF/Microwave Engineering
Our RF/Microwave Engineering services focus on designing and analyzing components for systems, keeping the system requirements in mind. Our design capabilities include a wide range of components such as up/down converters, synthesizers, amplifiers, filters, oscillators, mixers, and switches. We use various engineering software and tools to model and vet out components and subassemblies prior to breadboarding to minimize development time. Additionally, our analysis capabilities cover link budgets and antenna characteristics.
Power Systems & Circuits
Our Power Systems and Circuits services offer design and analysis for both Alternating Current/Direct Current (AC/DC) and Direct Current/Direct Current (DC/DC) systems. We specialize in 115 Volts Alternating Current/400 Hertz input, typical for Air Craft Power. Our DC/DC design capabilities include both linear and switching regulators, with Integrated Circuit (IC) or discrete design options. We also provide power monitoring circuits for fault detection, common mode and differential mode filter design, and power supply ripple analysis to meet system conducted emissions.
Analysis Capabilities
Our Analysis Capabilities cover all Design and Design Analysis to verify Specification Compliance. We perform cascade analysis from the antenna down to baseband and back up again to ensure receiver sensitivity, linearity, adjacent transmit power, and co-location interference. We conduct worst-case analysis, parameter partitioning, allocation, and trade-offs, frequency planning, spurious analysis, phase noise analysis, power budgets, thermal, reliability, and maintainability analysis. Our expertise includes EMI/EMC analysis, as well as mechanical and structural analysis. We have strong capabilities in synthesizers, receivers, transmitters, exciters, T/R modules, control circuitry (analog and digital), active devices, and passive devices for high-reliability environments.
Analog/Digital Engineering
Our Analog/Digital Engineering services encompass various designs such as analog and digital phase-locked loops, automatic gain control (AGC) loops, automatic leveling loops, and both digital and analog modulation circuitry in support of various modulation techniques. We specialize in control circuits such as feedback-type design and analysis of phase lock loops, AGC loops, automatic leveling loops, and proportional type oven-controlled loops. All loops are unconditionally stable over the operating environment, which is verified via analysis and testing in their environment, i.e., thermal, random, and sine vibration. Our Analog/Digital Modulators include I/Q type modulators and analog circuits such as active and passive devices (e.g., op-amps, diodes, and transistors) in support of telemetry, control, and signal conditioning. We provide custom control circuits, linearizers for frequency, phase, or amplitude modulators, D/A and A/D interface, and RF direct sampling. We also offer various components such as amplifiers, attenuators, active filters, switches, and detector circuits, including digital circuits in support of control and status of RF/Microwave systems.
